Objective: Develop and validate an application for functional management by healthcare professionals and self-care for elderly individuals with chronic respiratory diseases. Methods: The development was divided into two stages: the preparation and analysis of the application's informational content and the software construction. The validation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire and a structured questionnaire developed by the researchers. Results: Twenty-two primary care professionals participated, with a median SUS score of 88.8 points, and a median score of 92.5 points on the structured questionnaire. Thirty-three patients participated, with a median SUS score of 72.5 points. The analysis of the structured questionnaire showed a median score of 100 points. Conclusion: The application was validated and approved for primary care healthcare professionals, presenting information in accessible language, attractive design, and content based on scientific evidence and current recommendations regarding these pathologies.
