Abstract

Objectives: To develop and validate the ApneIA Conecte digital platform as an adjuvant resource in the physiotherapeutic monitoring of individuals with obstructive sleep apnea treated with positive pressure. Methods: The construction of the platform followed the Falkembach method with analysis and planning, modeling, implementation, evaluation, maintenance, and distribution. The proposed platform is built using open-source tools and cloud services for data storage and user authentication. The usability of the proposed platform was evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS). Results: The proposed platform was built using Figma and the Flutter framework. In the SUS, 60% of physiotherapists classified the platform as “Best imaginable” and the total average score obtained in the SUS scale was 79.5 (excellent). Conclusions: The platform presents adequate usability, with the potential to be presented as a new technological product for physiotherapists who work with sleep disorders to expand the clinical follow-up of patients.
